Chestnut Nursery in Poole opened in October 2001 by SWOP (Sheltered Work Opportunities Project).
It offers 50 work placements to volunteers with severe and enduring mental illness.
Chestnut Nursery is situated at the former Poole Council nursery site, adjacent to Poole Park.



 
 
 
Chestnut Nursery have been voted 'Poole in Bloom 2008 Best business Frontage - Town Centre', and also
Nationwide Community & Heritage Award Regional Finalists 2008

Chestnut Nursery is open to the public six days a week selling a wide variety of perennials, shrubs,
ornamental grasses and seasonal crops.
